Round area rugs are popular for interior home decor throughout the world. They look good in various places inside a house and people especially choose them for using in living rooms, bathrooms, and even in the basement. In many homes, people use attractive color combinations of round rugs to furnish the inside of their homes for a stylish look. While majority of people choose to buy them, some like to knit their own round rugs at home.   

Using Round Rugs in the Living Room 

While round rugs look good at almost all places inside a home, they look particularly fit for use in the living rooms and bathrooms. In the living room or lounge, round rugs serve as a focal point for the room’s appearance. They are preferably placed at the room’s center but also in proximity to any main piece of furniture to complement it by harmony or contrast of colors. In a bathroom, a round rug also serves the purpose of keeping feet warm and dry. Some people also use rug runners in the basement, especially for covering an unfinished part of the basement’s floor.
