This filter fits Brita model AVFF-100, and other models that uses the "AquaView" replacement filter cartridge such as the Aquaview Faucet Filtration System White AVFF-100/42645. It is tested and certified by NSF International to meet or exceed NSF/ANSI Standards 42 & 53 and lasts for up to 100 gallons of water - about 4 months for the average family. A simpler system for obtaining clean, fresh water is to use a Brita pitcher such as the Riviera.
