Our Victorian Sunroom

Despite the troubled economic situation we've recently added a sunromm to the back of our house. We've been saying for ages for this and so were able to go ahead despite needing to cut down in other areas. We'd already decided to go with the four seasons sunroom company  but didn't want the basic version since it's design is a little modern in looks for our VIctorian style house.

The curved version was suffered from the same type of problem although I particularly like the design of this one. We were looking for something a bit more traditional in design. The Cathedral model satisfied this need but, since, our home is relatively small it was a bit overkill for us.

On the other hand, the cathedral sunroom is amazing and it really segues well into traditional outdoor home décor. I love the high ceilings and magnificent structure in this design but we had to balance this grand addition on a relatively small home.

In the end we chose the conservatory sunroom, in wood, which fits in well with our old-fashoined decor. Even here there was a choice between Georgian and Victorian styles but since our house is Victorian it made most sense to go for that one. And we're loving it, especially now the Fall is here. I'm so glad we saved up for this and were able to buy before money got too tight.
